Restoration Project Manager Chuck Lobdell will be leaving JCWC at the end of September to join the environmental team at Knife River. Chuck joined JCWC in the summer of 2017, and out of the gate delivered the fish passage restoration at the Springwater Trail crossing at the North Fork of Johnson Creek. This was the first of eight high priority fish passage barriers removed over the past few seasons, along with 3 instream habitat restoration projects. Chuck also helped Daniel launch the Council’s stormwater program. Over the past few seasons Chuck has also helped the Council fulfill part of our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion mission by recruiting and hiring contactors registered with the State of Oregon. As Chuck moves on he leaves us with our first big stormwater project, fully funded, and two large wood restoration projects with funding awards pending. We wish you well, Chuck, and thank you!
