Field notes:
I entered the area by crossing the creek and walking up the trail to the mossy boulder overlook. I started picking up the scattered garbage there, a regular spot to leave trash.
I then headed to the 2 abandoned illegal campsites in the trees along the east side and cleaned up all the garbage they left behind.
I also picked up the garbage at another abandoned camp site on the west side. At this site someone had made a small lean-to which I dismantled and scattered the wood. I also scattered a pile of fire wood someone had collected and piled next to a recently made firepit along the road.
I enjoyed taking the new loop trail through the area and was happy to have the area cleaned up again
