Field notes:
It looks like the beavs and nutria continue to work on creating more ponded areas and connecting lanes. More downed trees and lots of stripped logs. A nice pile of stripped branches piled up next to the beaver lodge. Most of the leaves are down now, so the area looks really open.
No campers here this time, and no junk piles.
Still lots of sign of deer, coyotes, raccoons and of course nutria and beavers. Also, a nice pair of bufflehead ducks have been hanging out lately, si I added them to iNaturalist.
