Wondering what tree to plant at your home? Flowers, fall color, and fruits for wildlife are just a few things to consider when choosing your tree. In this free community workshop, explore interesting tree species and why tree diversity is important for a healthy home and city. This workshop will be part discussion, part discovery, and will be sure to have you and your neighbors excited about planting trees!
Join Johnson Creek Watershed Council, Green Lents, The Lents and Brentwood-Darlington Tree Team, and Urban Forestry on Saturday December 17th at 9am at the Zenger Farm Grange. Julie Fukuda, a local tree expert from Urban Forestry, will lead you on a journey of tree discovery.
