Rain Garden Planting at the Stonebridge Apartments
Dec 2, 2023 @ 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Join us to plant the rain gardens that were created in April after volunteers removed 1,500 square feet of pavement from the Stonebridge Apartments. This apartment building that provides housing for low-income and senior residents is next to Johnson Creek. Removing pavement and replacing it with native-plant rain gardens will help capture stormwater that runs off the pavement reducing flooding for Stonebridge Apartments residents and collecting pollutants from washing into Johnson Creek!
