Habitat Enhancement with the Crystal Springs Partnership

Thank you for signing up for the Habitat Enhancement with the Crystal Springs Partnership and the Johnson Creek Watershed Council at the Westmoreland’s Union Manor.
What: We will be planting native shrubs and removing non-native weeds.
When: Sunday, February 19, 9:AM-noon
Where: Westmoreland’s Union Manor, 6404 SE 23rd Ave, Portland, OR 97202 Please park on 23rd Ave.
How to prepare: No experience necessary! Wear thick pants, a long sleeve shirt, and sturdy, close-toed shoes. Dress for the weather and bring a full water bottle.
What we provide: Tools and snacks will be provided, but you may want to bring your own gloves.
Children 12+ are welcome: Everyone! Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an attentive adult. This work is around and near prickly plants and can be challenging for young children. We recommend children ages 12 and up for this type of event.
Health and Safety: We will follow current Oregon Health Authority guidelines. Masks are not required, but encouraged in indoor spaces where social distancing is not possible. Stay home if you are experiencing symptoms of any contagious illness or have had recent contact with someone exhibiting symptoms of any illness.
