Thank you for signing up for the Habitat Enhancement with the Crystal Springs Partnership. This project was started with grant funds from the city of Portland that were awarded when Crystal Springs was designated the first urban Salmon Sanctuary!
What: We will be weeding and mulching the riparian area just beyond the driving range.
When: Sunday, June 11th, 9:AM-noon
Where: Eastmoreland Golf Course, 2425 SE Bybee Blvd. Meet behind the club house.
How to prepare: No experience necessary! Wear thick pants, a long sleeve shirt, and sturdy, close-toed shoes. Dress for the weather and bring a full water bottle.
What we provide: Tools and Refreshments provided. Bring gloves and water.
Children 12+ are welcome: Everyone! Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an attentive adult. This work is around and near prickly plants and can be challenging for young children. We recommend children ages 12 and up for this type of event.
Health and Safety: We will follow current Oregon Health Authority guidelines. Masks are not required, but encouraged in indoor spaces where social distancing is not possible. Stay home if you are experiencing symptoms of any contagious illness or have had recent contact with someone exhibiting symptoms of any illness.
Directions: By Transit: Get off Bus 19 at the Bybee MAX Station stop or take the MAX!
