After two years of being virtual, we were back to an in-person celebration of our Council and watershed restoration community, with a virtual component.
On Thursday, May 26, our partners, volunteers, sponsors, Board and Staff all gathered at the Milwaukie Masonic Lodge for two hours of socializing, Riffle awards, and a presentation of our work.
Our annual Riffle Award winners (below) are partners and individuals who were especially key in the Council’s success over the past year. From left to right: Tonia Williamson, Michael Bork (North Clackamas Parks & Recreation District, Public Agency category), Lloyd Vivola (Ernie Francisco award for an individual volunteer), Nuradin Abdirahman, Jamal Dar, Abdirahman Abdirahman (African Youth & Community Organization, Community Partner category).
It’s always great when Board and Staff alumni join us. Below, from left to right: Jason Howard, Tim Cooper, Amy (Lodholz) Easton, Bruce Newton
Courtney Beckel, our Volunteer Program Manager, gave out the Riffle Awards. We’re going to miss her! After nearly six years in that role, she’s taken a job with Multnomah County. Thank you, Courtney!
Thank you to everyone who attended, either in person or via Zoom! A big thank you to our business sponsors, including Gigantic for beer donations.
