Field notes:
I entered from the Springwater and to the side path that leads to the boardwalk. There are two camps… One to the left, the other to the right but I was unable to determine if they are occupied or abandoned. The rails have still not been repaired and there is a hole creating a falling hazard (picture). I “hopped” the fence to explore the area west and to the east where the creek turns. This is my favorite spot. Evidence of scattered camps still remain and, again, not sure if abandoned or occupied. Maybe an organized event to clear up debris. There is a lot. It was an otherwise beautiful day.
