I am thrilled to join the Johnson Creek Watershed Council board! I have been performing ecological restoration and native seed work in the Portland metro area since 2014. I currently work for the Land Stewardship Division at Portland Parks and Recreation. In my spare time, I love to lead impromptu (and organized) plant walks, practice botanic illustration, volunteer, watch birds, wildcraft, and read all the books. My wish to serve on the board stems from my deep passion for conservation and restoration ecology, and I am proud to be able to contribute to an organization which energetically involves the community in those efforts. I will also be serving on the board’s Community Inclusion Committee. This is a wonderful opportunity for me to contribute to Johnson Creek Watershed Council’s mission to make Johnson Creek a welcoming place for everyone and to actively participate in environmental justice.
