Field notes:
Entered from the parking lot on Foster. Saw well worn trails leading to the creek under the bridge. Came upon one camper still residing under the bridge (he was gone when we returned to the car). Lots of graffiti on the bridge walkway and railing. Shopping cart left in the creek which can be seen from the bridge. (picture below) Picked up garbage from abandoned camps. There was a bucket full of human waste which I left, located within sight of the main trail, across the bridge on the west side of the trail. Saw some mourning doves, a marsh wren and robins. Other than that it was a quiet day.
