Field notes:
I entered Veteran’s Creek Natural Area at the main entrance and made a complete loop around the site picking up garbage. Most of the area was trash free except for an abandoned illegal camp site along the creek and the area along Mt. Scott Boulevard. Unfortunately a lot of the garbage that ends up in the Natural Area comes from the road.
