We surveyed carefully along Johnson Creek although it was lightly raining the whole time and the water was very murky. The terrain was muddy in some spots which meant we had to stay farther away from the water. Some areas had some dense red alder growth that was a challenge to walk through, but mostly it was relatively easy-going with some up- and down-hill areas. No fish carcasses seen and no redds, but some interesting garbage!
