o Focus Area: Johnson property– north and south side of Errol Creek and wetlands
o Project: Plant care (finish planting and mulching and/or weeding planting area)
o Project Partners: Friends of Errol Heights, Friends of Trees, Johnson Creek Watershed Council, SOLVE
o Note: This area is unpredictably wet, due to beaver activity. Please wear rubber boots and/or shoes you don’t mind getting wet and muddy. Instruction, tools, gloves, water and coffee/tea provided. Children welcome, and must be accompanied by an attentive adult.
Meet at: SE 45th trail entrance, just south of Tenino Drive. Park on SE 45th. The closest address is 8440 SE 45th Ave, Portland, OR 97222. Be aware not to block neighbor’s driveways.
Tri-met: Bus #75 (SE 45th & Tenino Drive stop)
Bike/Walk on the Springwater Corridor trail: www.PortlandOregon.gov/parks/springwatermap. Exit trail at the SE 45th St. entrance and then ride a short distance north to the trail entrance on SE 45th.
